 Days End is centrally located on a quiet street in
Ocean Grove, a 10 minute walk to the shops, the
Barwon River, the bowling club and golf course,
and a 15 minute walk to the beach. It is a 15-20
minute drive to Queenscliff, Pt Lonsdale, Torquay,
Geelong, and the Portarlington wineries and olive
groves, and a 1 hour drive to Lorne via the Great
Ocean Road. Melbourne, Australia’s second
largest city, is 90 minutes’ drive.
Days End is a delightful holiday
home. It is light and bright, spotless and fully
self-contained, with 3 bedrooms. Bedrooms include
the main with a king bed and TV, a 2nd bedroom
with a trio bunk (double bed on the bottom, single
bed on top), and a 3rd bedroom with two single
beds. The bedrooms are carpeted. There is one
bathroom with a shower, bath and toilet and a
second toilet adjacent to the laundry. There
is a cot with bedding and a highchair.
The kitchen/dining/living area has TV/DVD/Stereo
with sound surround speakers, and hardwood floors.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with ample glassware
and crockery and a microwave, dishwasher and
large fridge. The laundry has a washing machine
with an indoor drying line, and outside there
is a clothes line and a clothes dryer. There
is central heating, reverse cycle air conditioning
in the living area, and fans.
The outdoor deck is covered and leads from
the living area. It has comfortable outdoor furniture
for eating and sitting, and there is a separate
BBQ area in the garden with outdoor furniture
and lighting. The garden is fenced and child-friendly,
with a sandbox and swing-set. There is off street
parking.
Days End is a sensational family holiday home,
light and sunny, spotless and fully self-contained – a
great destination for family weekends or holiday
breaks. No pets, and smoking outside only.
